RESIDENTIAL REMODEL Simonson Addition and Remodel, Seattle, WA The Simonson project is a great example of adding quality living space to a small house without making a substantially bigger building. Adding to an existing narrow floor plan allowed for a large amount of natural light throughout the residence. The existing building was gutted when the new addition was built. The entire house has the added value of super insulation in the floors, walls and ceilings as
well as insulated windows throughout. The use of an open ceiling
with exposed beams added to the feeling of a spaciousness.
